Texas Concealed Handgun License (CHL)

Please read all the CHL information before enrolling in a class.  

Class Cost $ 125.00 

Qualifications:
  • Be at least 21 years old and a citizen or resident alien of the United States
  • Never been convicted in any court of, a crime punishable by imprisonment for a term exceeding 1 year.
  • Not a fugitive from justice.
  • Not an unlawful user of or addicted to any controlled substance.
  • Has never been adjudicated as a mental defective or has been committed to a mental institution.
  • Not an alien illegally or unlawfully in the United states or an alien admitted to the United states under a nonimmigrant visa.
  • Has never been discharged from the Armed Forces under dishonorable conditions.
  • Having been a citizen of the United states, has never renounced his or her citizenship.
  • Is not subject to a court order that restrains the person from harassing, stalking, or threatening an intimate partner or child of such intimate partner.
  • Has never been convicted of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence.

  •  For a period of one year (12 months) after completion of the CHL class you can order one (1) firearm (handgun or long gun) of your choice* at dealer cost plus 6% +  any shipping or credit card fees which apply.

*Note: Some brands are "factory direct" and unavailable to Gun Showroom. thus excluded from this offer, i.e. Kimber, STI, Sig, Beretta shotguns, Benelli shotguns. Any firearm available to Gun Showroom (which are most) is included in this offer with the exception of "Allocated" guns.  Allocated meaning we are not able to order or replace this gun at will.

Reservations are required as class size is limited.  
All class study/reference materials will be provided including the State Application and finger print cards.  Finger printing is included in class cost. Bring your own (unloaded) weapon for shooting qualification and 50 rounds of ammo.  Note:  If you qualify with a revolver you will be restricted from carrying a semi-auto. You also need to bring two (2) passport photos to class with you.  These can be obtains from many places.  Walgreens & CVS pharmacy are two of these places.

Enroll early as class size is limited.  

Class are 2nd Saturday of each month from 8am - 6pm.
